Teresa Ferreira, NP

Teresa Ferreira is a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience in nearly every facet and setting of Primary Care.  A Fall River native since a toddler, she has devoted her professional career to delivering excellent medical care to her community, to educating Nurse Practitioner students, and to being a creative leader in Home Care. 

Ms. Ferreira earned her Bachelor of Science (护理) and her Master of Science (Adult Nurse Practitioner) degrees at University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.  She is Board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner.  She has worked as Registered Nurse and in nursing leadership at Saint Anne’s Hospital and as Nurse Practitioner in various capacities, joining 主要的护理 in 2001.  She has served as a 护理 Consultant to the Diabetes Association of Fall River and is a Certified Medical Examiner for the US Department of Transportation.  Ms. Ferreria is a member of the Greater New England Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Ferreira has been a nursing leader in the Steward Health Care Network and at 主要的护理.  She co-created and has managed Steward’s Skilled Care Team, has served as Chief Advanced Practice Provider at Good Samaritan and Saint Anne’s, and has been the Program Manager for 主要的护理’s Home Care Division.

She is dedicated to teaching and serves as a Clinical Faculty 护理 Preceptor at UMass-Dartmouth, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), Simmons University, and Walden University. 

Ms. Ferreira sees outpatients as part of the Millview Medical Group on 主要的护理’s main Fall River campus.  Her patients are hospitalized at Saint Anne’s, when necessary.  She maintains strong personal and cultural ties to her community and is fluent in 葡萄牙语.
